Research Interests
Organic thermoelectric materials
Recently discovered organic semiconductors have advantages desired for electronic devices. They are easily processable (from solution), allow use of flexible substrates, could have potentially lower price and definitely lower toxicity than inorganic semiconductors.
My research will be focused on an application of such materials to the field of thermoelectrics. They could allow us to produce electricity from waste heat and, in effect, increase the efficiency of power plants and solar panels.
