Research Interests

Ultrafast spectroscopy on processes in organic solar cells

My research will focus on the investigation of states and processes in organic solar cells by femtosecond laser spectroscopy and time resolved photoluminescence spectroscopy. The dynamics and properties of excitons, charge carriers and bound states at interfaces will be investigated in different combinations of organic and inorganic materials. The understanding of these processes will help to improve materials and devices to reach higher efficiencies.
